Enotah CASA is a 501c non-profit. Our mission is to provide court-appointed volunteer advocates to represent the best interest of every child found by the Enotah Juvenile Court to be abused and/or neglected & placed into foster/relative care. Our goal is for each child to have a safe, permanent home in a timely manner and opportunity to thrive. Referrals come from the Enotah Juvenile Judge which appoints a CASA to provide high-quality, consistent Guardian ad Litem representation for dependent children in the Enotah Circuit. Outcomes include family reunification & adoption or other permanency, reducing the time a child is in or returned to DFCS care. CASA recruits, screens, trains and supervises volunteers providing children with judicial advocacy, child and family assessments, referral services and case management to reunite families, and support to parents in Family Treatment Court. We serve Lumpkin, Towns, Union, White counties.
